GENE I HAVE A QUESTION AND YOU MIGHT HAVE AN ANSWER. I HAVE A MAX WEDGE
CLONE 1964 DODGE AND HAVE ABOUT 15 PASSES ON A FRESH TRANSMISSION . 2ND GEAR
BAND AND REAR CLUTCHES WERE COOKED, I HAVE A CHEETAH REVERSE PATTERN VALVE
BODY IN A LATER 727 TORQFLITE. THE QUESTION IS IT BETTER TO RUN WITH THE
THROTTE PRESSURE VALVE WIRED WIDE OPEN OR IS IT BETTER TO LEAVE IT ALONE
AND LET IT STAY CLOSED OR TO USE THE ORIGINAL LINKAGE AND HOOK IT UP?
THANKS FOR ANY ADVICE ED

Marshall,

Sorry I missed you, but I didn't miss your car. There were quite a few
62-65's thru out several classes. I was down spending some time with Ken
Montgomery and the other Hemi drag cars.I came away with a first place
in the 62-67 light modified class. It was almost a 80 mile drive and the
car performed flawlessly.
