It is NOT a VIN swap, only because YOU say so. Nobody else knows that. Many a "lost" high dollar car, comes back from the dead, wearing a completely different body. Only the VIN tag knows for sure. I kind of wonder how buying another car, [condition doesn't matter] gets you an original title to the one you already have? And "whatever reason" is an awfully wide door to pass through. "Why I bought this car from my brother-in-law, and have a bill of sale! He's a car thief in prison right now, or he would be getting it registered!" You own the car, but who has title?
