Cooper is owned by Cooper. American-made and owned. good tires and products.
the Cobra is maybe slightly less in the performance area over the T/A, but a
good tire for the money. http://www.coopertire.com/us/en/corporate/default.asp
another one to look into is Dunlop http://www.dunloptire.com/ their GT
Qualifier line is very similar to the T/A Radial and cheaper. Dunlop is also an
American company(formerly British).
i used to use the T/A exclusively, until i found out that the BF Goodrich
Tire part of the company was sold to the French.
www.tirerack.com has good prices and shipping on almost all brands.
