"Hydro Shocking"...This was done long ago to aircraft engines. Dodger is right, pour a cup of cold water in a warm engine, bring RPM's up a little first and watch what come out of the exhaust. I've only seen this done on an '76 Datsun, but she ran for years after that. Anyone done this? hard to do after the engine has been torn down, I have been told that while the engine is still in running condition, that if you warm it up and pour water slowly down the carb, that the drastic temp change at the pistons will cause the carbon to pop off, and flow out the exhaust dodger -- [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] =========================================================== Graduate in less than 13 months with AIUs Online virtual campus.
