Why don't you just use Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil.  It's a little more money (about $8/qt. vs $3-4)but works with all automotive gear applications.  

Much better than orginal gear oils and meets all SAE requirements including your needs.  The viscosity is much thiner, therefore better lubracation in cold weather etc.,  however the lubracating qualities exceed orginal specs no matter what the temp.
