"While cursing along at around 40-50 MPH...." Sounds like my weekend as
well. how many curse words do you get to the gallon? Sorry couldn't pass
that up.
I was doing some street testing this weekend and all was fine for most of
the ride but it started to lose power and sputtering and wouldn't respond to
the peddle, it didn't konk out but puttered home and died in the drive way.
I had the trans pan off this weekend and was fixing the leaky gasket
situation and i messed with the shifter cable to get it to line up better on
the shifter marks. Long story short it wouldn't start again. I think i
missed the neutral safety switch and will attempt to adjust again. it turns
out my guage was working for the feul and it was just empty. so i think a
feul tank filled up nmight fix he not running thing, but the trans
adjustments were giving me troubles. I could get the pin to line up on the
Neutral safety switch , but when my assistant shifted to reverse the bar
didn't move much, when she shifted into neutral it moved some but wouldn't
line up to push in the NEuSwitch. Should i check for slop in the shifter
attachment or shifter end?? any suggestions...
