Thanks guys.  I never thought about condensation caused by rapid temperature
changes.  I suppose I could put the disassembled engine in my basement.  Or
make a living room coffee table out of the block. :)

Sorry to say, but this was the very first engine I ever rebuilt and when I
parted out the 63 330 wagon 12-15 years ago I basically ignored the engine.
Now it is stuck & tearing it down is probably the best thing I can do to try
& salvage it.

Fred, as for storing heads & cranks on their ends, I have never heard of
that.  Is that the consensus of everyone?  If so, I better run downstairs
and rearrange some heads & a crank that I'm storing improperly.  What about
intakes?
