induction hardening is done electrically and involes special tooling and 
set-up. very expensive for hobby people. i talked to an engineer at a plant north 
of me about doing a set of stage 5's( he was a engineer for the plant that 
induction hardened the internationl cylinder heads for ford trucks). he said the 
tooling alone would cost $3000, not including set-up.
