Tom,

There is no reproduction heater core available,
but a good radiator shop can recore yours. If
you don't have a local shop you trust, Looper's
Service in Rockville MD will do it in a few days.

FYI - the heater core is the same in a lot of 62/65
"B bodies" without A/C. Hollander's calls them
"Fresh air heater system." There were some heater
systems called "Recirculating heater system" made
in 62 and 63 that use a different core.

Before you tear the heater box out, look closely
at the water control valve located on the driver's
side of the box. The valve and the O-ring where
the valve pushes into the heater core tank may
be the source of your leak. You can change the
valve and the O-ring without taking the heater
box out.

Subject: '64 Heater Core - Am I in for it?

With Spring in the air and the Fury running again, I notice I need a heater
core. Don't have a manual, can I just guess at it?
