I think the first Hemi under Glass was a 65. The engine was mounted in the
rear of the car, where the back seat was.

You'd be better off finding another rear end, or at least another pair of
axles. The Imperial uses a 5" bolt circle. B and C bodies have a 4.5" bolt
circle, and your Barracuda has a 4" bolt circle. As far as the engine goes,
anything can be made to fit, so don't let people tell you otherwise on that
one. Which year was the first Hurst Hemi Under Glass car?
