Richard,
FWIW when I talked to Dale Chenoweth hvac1@xxxxxxxx at Gears and Rears

stocking prepped 440 blocks and offers a discount to members on our list.

Subject: 440 short block
Hi guys, my 440 engine has a bad piston, and I want to replace it with a new
HP short block (I have new aluminium heads and all the other stuff) - can
anyone suggest a good supplier of a quality block - I have a spare engine
but think it would be cheaper to import a new short block to New Zealand
than getting that rebuilt
Thanks
Richard
