I'd check the adjustment on the Park cable, sounds like you are
fighting the lockout feature inside the shifter box....does the park lever feel like
it is all the way up, or does it feel like something is holding it back (if
it does, that would be the cable adjustment) Only other possibility might be
the mechanism is perhaps in need of lube, spray lithium works pretty good. Good
