Hi,
I have a 64 Polara conv. that came with a 383 and is all original. I have
problems sometimes engaging the buttons from park into any gear. It takes a
lot of pressure to get the button to engage. Is this a common problem or
something that can be fixed easily? I checked the buttons from the front of
the dash to make sure they were all attached and looked under the dash, but
really cant make out whats going on there. I also have problems starting
the car, like when the car is not in park. If I keep moving the park lever,
it eventually catches and the car will start. Any suggestions are greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
Derek
