I usually carry his books when I go to swaps. They are very useful with
a lot of detail. Not only fender tag decode in the year to year ones
(62-65, for example) but all sorts of casting ID's in the casting number
books. I'd suggest you spent the $15 each or so for the book that deal
with your car and book One of the casting numbers. Haven't found a lot
of use for the second casting number book but I'm not an intense NOS
perfect number matching car guy. Some people have an attitude towards
the guy and some think he's got an attitude but he sure knows a heck of
a lot more than 99.9% of us and the data is real useful if your trying
to get your car close to right.

can anyone tell me a bit about the Govier books. I am looking for one
that would decode the fender tags and the broadcast sheets. Already have
a book that decodes the Vin tags on Mopars. Do his books decode the
abovementioned places ?How much are they?
