You might consider giving away real Buffalo (Indian Head) Nickels. I've given 
them to kids I work with and they usually really like them. You should be 
able to get full date (four digit) Buffalo Nickels for about $.50 each especially 
if you buy a roll of 40 or more. A very different gift but perhaps more than 
you want to spend.
