I have a '78 360 with '87 318 heads on, in my '87 Ramcharger.  8 years later
it still runs!  Tight combo that has a pretty high rev limit, but that's by
ear...so I really don't know true RPM.  With headers plugged with glass
packs and short pipes out the side, people hear the truck and actually thing
it might be a big block...That's until I start the '64 up ;-)  (list

Yes, the 1988 318 had swirl port heads. They started in about 1987. Gary
