Great pictures Rich!  I am sure many of the list members will benefit from your years of experience “speaking Poly!”  So nice to see how well you used the shields as heat soak & vapor lock can be a problem in many areas and your pictures show how to solve those problems.

I forgot about the gas pedal. It did take a bit to get it aligned ok. I think I had to mess with the firewall a bit. But on  different models that will vary.  I modified the bracket for the trans attachment. I used those small Eddy air cleaners on the dual quads as I couldn't find a one piece with the proper spacing for our engine. The carbs are farther apart than most others which makes it easier to work on! There are some pictures of some shields I made to protect from heat and/or damage. Don Dulmage recommended the mechanical fuel pump shield to prevent vapor lock. I converted to electric and put a shield around it for both road debris and exhaust heat. I installed the new fuse block on the interior between the brake and emergency brake.  I hope these download ok for those with interest.

Thanks, I forgot how nice it looked with dual quad manifold - beautiful!  Did the Lokar cable connect to your existing throttle pedal?  I'm passing on your picture to my brother who is trying to decide what to do for an air filter with dual quad Edelbrocks.

I used Lokar for both. I know there are pictures. All I have to do is find them.

Rich,  would you happen to have a picture of the linkage on the intake manifold?  Did you use the Lokar just for the kick-down?  What did you use for the throttle cable?  Thanks  by the way my brother solved his problems with the Edelbrock 2 fours on his engine.  Fuel pressure too high and the floats set wrong on the back one.

I used Lokar . It was good.

Hello,

I am installing the Wind Tunnel intake 318 in a 1964 Belvedere.  I would appreciate any thoughts on throttle and kick down cables.  It looks like Lokar and Bouchillon are companies that have kits.  Thanks
