There is no problem with mix and matching I trust?

Bill M I'm running Type F in my heavily modified 1973 TF in my drag car. If I was to switch to the ATF+4, what would I need to do to? Just pull the pan and converter and drain them or really clean out the Type F?

I used ATF+4 when i did my trans. Local (successful) racer i know started using it and said he dropped his trans temps by 20+ degrees.
