multiple intakes dealer installed?

Hi all,

Quite a while ago there was a discussion here about multiple intake (2 x 4) inline available as a dealer installed option on B-
body Moaprs. What I recall is the factory shipped the manifold and carbs etc in the trunk of the car and the dealer installed 
them. Thus it was not a factory option but you could buy a new car with that option. I think it was the 1962 B-body. Maybe 
later? Anyone remember or know the story?
