A similar thing happened to me and the trunk closed locked but it looked slightly open. My buddy is a body guy and I brought it to him and he fixed it. Not really sure what he did but it was better then ever. He didnt charge me for that because I was having something else done also. Let the body guy mess with it they know all the tricks to get the panels in line. Your hinges maybe fine.

Wind caught the lid, forward, adjusted so it clears the deck lid flush, but position is back not even with fenders. Just trying to find out any fixes before it goes to the body shop, thanks.
