Check to see if your state has a dept. to handle insurance settlement disputes That claims adjuster is trained to pay you the least amount that you will accept. Somebody is being un-truthful when they tell you showing values as you have done , makes no difference. I have had some experience in dealing with claims adjusters--some are good, some are A-holes. Get what is rightfully yours , and after they pay you, change insurance company's before they raise your premiums. Your agent probably can't or won't do much for you. I am going to change my 64 Dodge and 68 Plymouth to " agreed value" and get rid of possible hassle's with claims adjusters and " stated values"..............................MO
