Big fan, too. Had one when I was a young 'en. Only had a 318 poly in it. One of my least powerful Mopars of my youth. But, one of my prettiest and reliable vehicles. All my others had 413/426/440 or race 318 engines in them. All 62-65 B-Bodies - think I had a 63, 64 and two 65s.

Mighty nice, folks!
The 64 Sport Fury was (& still is) my favorite car of that
era. A customer on my paper route bought one with the 426 for his
"family car"! Well, he wanted a race car and his wife liked the
looks of the Fury. Excellent choices and family harmony, right??
Well, the race car part worked out pretty well, and daddy took
Street Eliminator at the local dragstrip pretty often.
Unfortunately, mom got kinda tired of going to the grocery store
and taking the kids to school in a thinly disguised race car and
hubby got a little tired of detuning the car for street use (as
well as possible) then tuning it for max race-worthiness every
Saturday afternoon!
It didn't take too long for him to get the dealer/sponsor to
donate a worn out '62 Plymouth cop car to the cause. The 426 went
into the cop car and the 383 cop motor got rebuilt and installed
into the Sport Fury and they lived happily ever after...
And I got to play pit crew on the former cop car turned racer and
had lots of fun...
Sweet memories!
