Steer and Gear - Columbus, Ohio (614) 231- 4064 makes a boot that covers half of the coupler pot. It replaces the red gasket and clamp that gives all the fits. I used it on my '68 Coronet, which has the wider style pot, and it worked great! My '64 Belvedere had a narrower style pot, so check with them to see if their part fits both styles. The part number for the Redesigned Seal Boot Cover is 2111. Cost is $25. Their rebuild kit is part number 2112 and includes the new style boot. Cost is $50.

Anybody know how to get the 8 pronged plate on the coupler to actually GRAB the coupler pot. I got a new kit and the plate basically seems like gaskets too thick or the prongs are too short.
