I've done some research on these intakes and they're not much better than the stock 4bbl. If you're looking for a dual plane intake, the Performer RPM is the one you want. There's a comparison article in Hot Rod magazine you can look up on line. They compare big block intakes but I'm pretty sure the results would the same or very close for the small bocks.
