My setup is a little different since I'm running a single pusher fan. I've not used a temp gauge but have thought about it with the higher stall converter. I run an external cooler only 7 1/2" x 12', nylon flex lines all the way with an external filter. My cooler is mounted in line with my fan for full cooling. When cruising and the fan is off all air is directed through the fan's opening since the fan shroud is sealed 360* around the radiator. All air flows through the cooler when moving.
I also use a seal between the radiator support and the hood to further direct air passing through the grill to pass through the fan and not lost over the top of the radiator support.

Subject: Re: TTI Headers & Trans Lines
A question for Nick T. Do you run a temp gauge on your transmission? I'm using an external oil cooler in line with the radiator and my transmission temp rarely gets over 125*. My cooler is @ 11"x6"x1.5". Im like the idea of running an external cooler only, and the soft lines and external filter are also tempting. Just wondering if my ex
632073aulisting cooler would be up to the job. I currently have it hanging under the battery tray. I may have to relocate it to get more air flow if using it solo.
