This eliminates running refrigerant lines to the rear however being 12 volts the current draw is very high. This is not a problem however it will require a high amperage alternator. This would also require a total upgrade of the electrical distribution system with the proper size wire going to the rear with current protection. A large alternator will totally fry the electric system in our old cars if the original wiring is not protected properly with fuses or fusible links.
