Just my opinion, but don't you also have to have the
lines to the rear brakes bled to eliminate the spongy pedal with dual res. M/C

Subject: Re: master cylinder woes
Hi fellas
I did bench bleed the master had no problem
I have (with a friend) bled the system probably half a dozen
times
where I am getting only fluid thru and still a sponge for a pedal
and again this is with
only the front brake lines in play
Actually the larger bore should make it spongier. I have
something just a bit over 1" and it's too spongy. I am looking to get one with
the 1" or perhaps less. This has been discussed often in the past. Bench
bleeding the mc is necessary. Did you do that?

Hi fellas
here's my problem
62' Plymouth Valiant
modified
replaced
the front drum brakes with a disc kit (The Ram
man)
I
have added a line-lok
long
story short I have now (after many attempts at bleeding )
isolated
the front brake reservoir directly to a tee and the front brake
lines only
still
no pressure and no leaks (this leads me to a faulty master cylinder this
will be the 3r)
i
can pump the pedal about ten times to get some feel but when i release it
and re-try the pedal goes all the way to the floor
any
thoughts / input appreciated
