For some reason, I always got a kick out of the big, loud "boats"
that roared, spun the tires and graaadually got off the line - then
went like hell! I especially recall a '60ish Pontiac ambulance
that was almost always in the running for top street. Not the
fastest, nor the quickest, but consistent, consistent, consistent
