When we did the body on my ’62 Dart, I had one of those nuts separate from the arm. If memory serves correct, it simply had a flange on the bottom of the nut, that sits inside the domed portion of the wiper arm. In my case, I was able to force the nut back into place before re-assembly. I’m not sure that I would recommend doing so, though.
