I only worked in a body shop for seven months. It was the most unhealthy job 
I've ever had. (Not just for the inherent toxins, but also the drugs and the 
people that hung out there.) When I sobered up, I wanted to do one car as a 
reward to myself for having put me through all that. I didn't really plan on 
doing that to this Belvedere I that was beat up, rusted out, had the wrong 
motor, and no reverse. Belle grew on me. Five years, four months, and $23K 
later, she began to pull trophies, win the respect of Year One on her 
catalog pages as the only 273 they had ever seen done to this level of 
originality. No matter how bad life got, a drive in Belle would make it much 
better. She is the hands-down, most dependable machine I have ever known. A 
gift from God. My sobriety is God's gift to me. What I do with it is my gift 
to God. We are all pleased beyond any expectation!  - James
