I aggree....tap it with a hammer it will start.   Bad starter or stuck .

Yes, clean and tight connections.  However, I suspect the click is the starter relay and the lack of cranking is the starter SOLENOID being stuck. 
The first thing I would do is deliver a nice firm rap or two to the starter with a medium size hammer, a breaker bar, or similar.  Then try to start it. 
Of course, and as always, I might be wrong.
