If I could get my hands on that I would steal it and hide it. I would have no problem if I had gotten my hands on a turbine Chrysler or EV1 to save it. After 20 years I think they would be more interested in having you back then it being gone forever
How does Chrysler have jurisdiction? I think I remember a little matter of bankruptcy. At that time they ran away from every thing that otherwise would have cost them millions. Since when after BK do you get to choose????George P.--On Thu, Mar 6, 2014 at 2:48 PM, Gary H. <62to65mopar@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Rule by lawyers and accountants, not historians or designers I guess is the norm. The purpose of any new car corp is to sell new vehicles and not much else. The statement "the cars involved did not have historical significance" was obviously made by a PR marketing type, not a car enthusiast.
If Chrysler / Fiat incorporated some styling cues from 62-65 into the current crop of jelly bean cars, like the roof line on a 1965 Satellite or push button transmission controls, I'd be more inclined to buy a new Fiatler.
