There was a show called "American Icon: The Muscle Car" hosted by Chip Foose. As much as I don't like him (I have my reasons), he did say, along with a couple other guys, that many historians consider the Chrysler 300 to be the first muscle car. That was I the first of thirteen episodes and in the first eight minutes of said episode. A lot of Mopar in this series. It made by the Discovery Channel. Well worth watching.
