According to the Schumacher instructions for that swap you can fit a 727 by flattening the weld seam you'll find a little ways down inside the tunnel. I'm about to find out as I sold a 64 Dart vert to a guy and the deal includes putting in a 360 and 727 he supplied on the slant six mounts.
