So a #2 car is a little more than $13,000? Like I said, just to get it to between 3 and 4 you're gonna be spending about $13,000, plus the purchase price. Convertible parts are NOT cheap. Especially c body parts. And seeing as the engine is not there, I wouldn't pay more than $400-$500 for what will likely become a lawn ornament. My buddy has a 66 Monaco rag that he wants to sell for $10,000. A special order car with a 318. Most came with a 383. I guess there's only like around 50 left on the road out of about 470. This what you can get for $10,000. A car that is a solid #3 car and wouldn't take much to make a #2.
