Everyone is correct that the blue unit isn't recommended for the street. However after getting frustrated with an electronic stock replacement I was running on my '68 383 Barracuda, I put a blue one on it and it was so trouble free that I ran it for two years including two 500 mile round trips to the Nats and cruising on Brice when it was still even doable, driving back and forth to work often, and plenty of other use. It was still on there when I sold it to a list member who promptly drove it home about 130 miles again with no problem. As always your results may vary.
