I found a great place for shifter and throttle cables 
FLEETPRIDE in Tampa FL
It took only 30 minutes and he custom made them while a friend waited. SS cable and heavy nylon outer with threaded ends nuts and clamp for my Cheeta shifter. I gave him the old one to copy.
Both throttle and shifter cable for $45.00
Half the price if the Summit cable that doesn't work,
FLEETPRIDE has stores around the country but not sure who all does cable
