Slow progress

 Any suggestions for gas pedal and throttle cable assy.?
Is there an assembly that is spring loaded with throttle cable or is spring action from cable attachment on engine?
Also having trouble finding right 6' shifter cable for manual body reverse action cheetah turbo action shifter that attaches properly to shifter.
Just wish one thing was easy to put back together. Tired of buying everything new but hard to settle for cobbled up parts
