Yup, you pretty much summarized my interpretation of those ads. I put in the
'64 Farm Fresh because it sounded like an oxymoron term. The Dodge was hardly
"fresh" was it? :) But that one was a fair asking price.
As for the '59, one price guide gives a standard #5 2dr Custom Royale
Hardtop a $3125 value. But it sounds like the one your friend found was
more a parts car. Unless you look under the hood and find multiple
four barrels.
