Ah but you’re forgetting the other side of the coin. It’s a lot easier to find a place to store a bike for the winter than a car. In a pinch you can store a bike in the house. (don’t ask me how I know that lol) Actually we’ve been having some pretty nice weather lately (except for the rain today) Still cruising, using the ac and riding the bike. From: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of D J Dan, You should also realize that the guy lives in Buffalo and with the add being over a mouth old, and winter about to arrive, probably no longer interested in a bike. Brrrr. DJ From: Daniel McCormack <mcwheels@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Yeah I missed out on a 62 Lancer wagon years ago because I lost the phone number I wrote down after looking at the car at a show. Of course years later when I was looking at a picture of the dash I had taken I realized the phone number was clearly visible backwards on the windshield. LOL Oh well I wound up buying a 65 Baccaruda when I couldn’t find the phone number for the Lancer. I offered to trade this guy even for a running and on the road 2001 Kawasaki 250 Ninja that should be easily worth the $1,000 (the ad says will trade for a motorcycle) but he said that bike was too small for him. Well that deal has sailed because I just made a deal to trade the bike for an almost new generator that I can use. I do have a larger newer bike I could offer him but I’d need cash back plus his car and I don’t know if he would want to do that. The car does look solid, he sent me a couple of pics that I’m reducing and attaching. He’s only about 20 minutes away but I haven’t actually gone and seen the car. I’m afraid to unless he wants to trade, the last thing I need is to “buy” another car. LOL PS I agree Neal about the 65 Vaiiant, I like the looks of that one a lot. Dan Mc From: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of neal zimmerman Dan, that lancer looks pretty good, hard to find anything that runs for 1000 bucks. If it's as solid as he says. Looks like it has some 'custom " seats in it. A couple years ago there was a station wagon version here for sale that ran and drove for 900 dollars. I almost got it. reality prevailed Neal On Fri, Oct 4, 2013 at 7:55 PM, neal zimmerman <neal.zimmerman@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: that white 65 valiant is sharp\ neal On Fri, Oct 4, 2013 at 11:45 AM, Gary H. <62to65mopar@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: I agree but you never know. Normally the longer an ad stays online, the higher the seller's motivation increases. That ad went live just over a month ago, on Sept. 2, 2013 at 11:10PM EDT. May want to wait a week and if it is still for sale drive over on that motorcycle -- and perhaps a few bucks in cash to wave like a magic wand . :)
