I have one in a 60 Saratoga. Very nice engine and a real torque
monster. Parts from any RB will fit, including 413 and 440, so the
potential to marry RB big-block response with a push-button torqueflite in a
finned car is extremely nice to have. I will take as many as you can throw
my way.

The crank is different in that old 383 because of the cast iron
727 transmission. It's the first 383 and it was only made for 1959 and
1960. It's a nice motor if you have the correct car to put it in.
I can tell you that damn power steering cap was a bitch to find, and they
get lost all the time. For me that is all I would want on it....but as I
said...maybe somebody here is looking for one and would like it. $200
isn't too bad of a price.
