good nail polish is acrylic paint. I have had it on my car for years and it is still there.

Subject: I need some touch-up paint for various 'incidents'
Any suggestions for getting some touch-up paint for a car whose official color is unknown. Its some shade of burgundy. Looks spiffy but between kids and wife and dog and, perhaps, even myself there are a couple of nicks that I'd like to fix. I talked to a body shop guy, but he hold me his paint needs to have hardener added which would not keep in a bottle and without it would never dry. Is this right? How can I get a reasonable match touch-up paint?
