You only have to go to 15" wheels if you use the large 11.75" rotors and pin calipers from a Cordoba, etc. That's the way I went because I'm not a fan of the sliders and wanted more stopping power.

The biggest problem with staying with 14” wheels is if you ever want to do a disc brake conversion then you will have to go with 15’s. Plus I believe tire choices are not as plentiful. Good luck

Hi Mosquito, I live in Connecticut. I'm really trying to keep the car as stock and original as possible, thanks for off though!

Hi , if you live around the tampa area i have a complete rear axle with the large brakes, rebuilt and converted so you do not need the hub puller on my 64 4 door 440. don't know the gearing in the 8 3/4 and it's a open 742. but its all free for labor. brakes have new hub , springs , pads. for tires i went to a 15" x 8 " in back and a 14" x 6" all junk yard specials. the 14"s won't rub up front if you go with a fast ratio pitman. email me your phone # if your fla and interested.
On my 4 door Belvedere, I used a set of 14” Magnum 500’s. Everything else, I’m using 15’s. magnums, Summit Legend series, & steelies

I switched to 15's and of course my original hubcaps don't work. I just bought some inexpensive steel wheels in 15x7 and 15x8 and got the small dog dish type hubcaps they offered.

Rich Kinsley's your guy.he has a 64 Polara 4 dr. sedan and hasa nice setup on his car.
I have a 1964 dodge 440 4-door sedan. I'm currently working on the brakes and fuel system. After that I would like to get some new wheels.
I would like to use the wheel covers that came with the car but I would like to get a wider rim/tire. Any advice? My tire guy suggested 14x6 rims but they
don't seem readily available. Any help is appreciated.
