Sorry, I did not mean to get sidetracked there....
What I had in mind to recover the seats was rather subtle, something similar to the original pattern or tuck and roll style, without having to spend a lot of money. This is something that J.C. Whitney may actually be good for.
The station wagon, on the other hand, is getting a saddle blanket draped over the seat.
