Re: Ignition up grade



Thanks everyone for you advise. I have rebuilt my point distributor. So I think I'm going to throw flames. I have the older version in my MG. It let me down several times but it was the blaster coil and the ballast resistor cutting the voltage to low for the system to run. Have the flame thrower coil in it and it runs fine. I wish I had the money to go MSD. Like some I will spend hours fixing a old part over buying new. Partly for the satisfaction of making it work and not having the resources for new. I will leave opening a catalog and buying a new car to the Chevy guys. You will find me in the junk yard picking and pulling.
