I am thinking about investing the time and money to create carbon fiber hoods, front fenders, doors, trunk lids, roof, interior parts and rear quarter panels for the A -bodies. They would be solid carbon fiber, except for the latches, and mounting hardware.
I would include instruction on how to remove the old parts and how to install mounts and bolt them in and seal them from the weather. It would be reinforced at key areas as well as places you wanted and layered to your strength and thickness specs. The reason
I want to do this is that it is impossible to find replacements for these online that are new, if not in good shape. Plus carbon fiber is stylish and light which could contribute to better speeds due to less weight. I want to have a reason to build the molds
besides just to install them on my car. So would any of you be interested? Its only in its design and planning stages, and would be awhile till I could start making them.
