A while back I posted about rebuilding the heater in my '64 Barracuda. I just wanted to show the before and after pictures. I used a rebuild kit from Detroit Muscle Technologies and a new core from Rock Auto. The DMT kit was nice. All the parts fit perfectly. The heater has not yet been re-installed in the car but will be this winter. Turned out to be a pretty easy project. Thanks for all the advice. Vic

Subject: Re: Re: Heater Box RebuildFound my invoice. It's a Detroit Muscle and the instructions say 64-66 A Body (non AC)
As I mentioned before it is a great kit with everything you need including the
caulk and door seal for the drivers side fresh air box. For the heater core I bought
a Pro Source, however, there are many to choose from on that E-pay thing.
The A body non ac boxes are very simple....no vacuum hose to deal with.If you are at all handy I would save the 500.00!! and do it yourselfAnd, no, I didn't find any silver coins or lost treasures inside the box, dang it.
