The manual should give you the information that you are looking for. Just a comment on wiring, I like to use non-insulated termainals, crimp, solder and shrink wrap each one. Takes a little longer but gives a very nice job that will not fail. It may also be a good time to consider updating your headlight wiring with relays, not that hard to do, better lights and takes a load off of the bulkhead connector. A search for "Mopar headlight relay kit" will turn up many inclucing the following: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html Depending on your car you may want to consider bypassing the ammeter, again takes a load off of the bulkhead connector. There are many ways to do this, a search should turn up information on the conversion. Take Care Dennis C. There should be a chart on your wiring diagram that shows what gauge each wire is. I don't particularly want to buy a new wiring harness for my car but I do have a bunch of wires I would like to replace. I have a nice colored wiring diagram but it does not indicate the gauge size of the wires. How do you determine the wire size? Is all the wiring the same size? > > I see that the stock braided wire wrap used on the factory harness is starting to crumble. Stock-like material is available from several sources including Year One but comes in many different diameters.
