Oh sure, the easy way lol......5:00am.....bed time for me.  I almost got my kitchen remodleing done.....one last trip to the store for some more bits...and done....but need sleep badly. but tomorrow....

Set the your engine to top dead center. The rotor will be pointing at number one. Then plug the wires not the cap following your firing order.

Another thing to consider.Is it a Chrysler or Prestolite dist? No.1 is different in the Prestolite.Odds are it's a Chrysler unit. Just in case thing.
