In addition to the other suggestions given you can install a fuel pressure gauge before the carb to test pressure. Also, as noted, look closely at the short hose those that is attached to the fuel sender in the gas tank for dry rot - cracks. I had a Mopar often died when the car got hot. Replacing that hose fixed it. That hose had small cracks that let air in but did not leak gas. Also consider heat shields for the carb and heat spacer under the carb too. Maybe a heat shield for the fuel pump. The "gas" now is formulated with fuel injected systems and does not play well with our carb cars. Evaporation big time!
